The Bath Half Corporate Challenge is one of the largest business team running events in the UK, with nearly 100 business teams competing in 2011

The Corporate Challenge is a team event for businesses, designed to help build teamwork across departments and fitness within the workplace, whilst raising serious money for charity. Runners compete as individuals alongside the general public entrants, whilst also representing their business team. The challenge is open to employees, owners, guests and families of all UK registered businesses
Each Corporate Challenge entrant undertakes to fundraise a minimum sum of £200 for a charity of their own choice and to provide details of their fundraising on request to their team captain after the event
Rules
- Entry to the Corporate Challenge is open to employees, proprietors, families and guests of any UK registered business or corporation (including HM forces & government departments)
- Minimum age 17 years on race date
- The winning first Men's Team and first Women's Team will each receive a unique Bath Half Trophy
- Each scoring team comprises the fastest 5 members identified on the day by the results computor, calculated by lowest aggregate finishing place, in two categories - male and female. At least 3 members of each scoring team must be employees of the business represented on the day of the race (the third and fourth team members can be 'guests' from outside the business). A maximum of 2 scoring teams is allowed per business, but there is no limit to the number of non-scoring teams
- A minimum of 5 members is required initially to register a team, but additional members can be added later (subject to availability), there is no limit to the number of runners representing a particular business. The results computor will select the fastest members for the scoring team, there is no limit to the number of non-scoring team members
- Affiliated athletes are also eligible to score for their club teams, and championship titles. All finishers will be eligible for prizes in the open race
- Team captains will be required to act as a point of contact for the race organiser and to submit regular reports on their team's fundraising after the event
