Join Ted’s Team and support the 2012 Bath Half Featured Appeal – improving the Cancer Services at the Bath’s Royal United Hospital!
Cancer affects one in three people in the UK and the catchment area of the RUH is no exception.
A Gamma-CT Scanner is a sophisticated piece of state-of-the-art equipment used to diagnose cancer, as well as heart disease, bone pain and neurological disorders. By combining two types of scans (Gamma and CT) this equipment gives pictures of brilliant clarity, allowing a more accurate diagnosis, which provides a much better service to patients during a very stressful time in their lives.
We therefore need your amazing efforts in the Bath Half to help us fundraise for this whizzy latest technology!
As a member of our team you will receive a funky new ‘Ted’s Team’ running top, your very own supporter pack with fundraising hints and tips, as well as training advice and contact details for running clubs in your area. We will also be at the end of the phone – happy to help and encourage you with all your training and fundraising in the lead up to the big day.
We will be there on the day to cheer you around the course and over the finish line, where you will be supplied with drinks, snacks and your very own goody bag full of exciting treats in honour of your
truly fantastic achievement!
Over the years, Ted’s Team has helped fundraise for various departments across the RUH and we are so thrilled that the recently opened Dyson Centre for Neonatal Care even has a room named after all our wonderful Bath Half runners.
