Golden Bond Charities – Applications from charities for reserved Golden Bond places in the 2012 Bath Half are now closed
15% of the 15,000 places in next year’s Bath Half Marathon have been reserved for between 40 and 50 Official Race Charities
To qualify for the Golden Bond scheme charities are required to pre-purchase between 10 and 200 places. These can then be marketed to the charity's supporters in exchange for a fundraising commitment
Golden Bond charities will be listed on our website and have a display place in the main charity marquee in the Runner’s Village on race day. Charities have the option of purchasing extra advertising space on our website and individual charity marquees

The successful race charities for the 2012 will be announced shortly, together with the launch date for charity applications for the 2013 Bath Half
Private Race Charities – Applications from charities for reserved Private Charity places in the 2012 Bath Half are now open
150 places in next year’s Bath Half Marathon will be reserved for between 15 and 20 Private Race Charities. Each charity in the Private Charity scheme can apply for a maximum allocation of up to 10 places
Under the Private Charity scheme no payment is required by the charity to the event, neither is there any obligation on the charity to fill or pay for the allocated places. Places are offered on a ‘no-sale-no-fee’ basis with the entry fee being payable by the individual entrant to the race at time of entry
